Pan-Clan Scottish Area 2012 Meet
**IMPORTANT: To avoid any confusion his event is NOT the 2012 International Pan Gathering which will take place in Austria**
Welcome to the website for the Pan-Clan Scottish Area 16th Birthday Bash. The event is now closed for new bookings.
Contact us on info@scotpan-meet.org.uk if you require any other information and we will do our best to help you.
The event will take place in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland over the weekend 1st - 4th June 2012 and based at the Beveridge Park Hotel.
Over the weekend you'll have the opportunity to experience some of the great roads in Scotland; meet like-minded Pan-riders; enjoy Scottish hospitality.
You may wonder why it is the 16th Anniversary. The simple answer is that we are busy around the time of our 15th anniversary in 2011. If you want to know more about the event see the Background page, and pictures on the Gallery page.
On the routes page there are files for your GPS (Garmin and TomTom) of the routes available. The What to do page has some alternative routes for getting to the venue that avoid the more obvious motorways/main roads.
What is the event?
This is a Pan-Clan event for owners of Honda Pan-European motorcycles, either the ST1100 or ST1300 versions. This event will follow closely the format of the event held in 2006 (the 10th Anniversary Bash!). For those who did not attend in 2006 this means:
- Arrival and registration Friday 1st June from 2pm. You have the evening to enjoy the bar and included meal. A chance to meet and chat with the other participants.
- On both Saturday and Sunday there will be a selection of led runs or GPS routes to do your own thing.
- Saturday evening there will be 60's/70's (and maybe a bit later) music/dancing to a live band.
- Sunday evening there will be a demonstration of some Scottish Dancing, followed by the chance to have a go at a real Scottish Céilidh (not as complex as the demonstration, but great fun and easy to do).
- Monday is departure day! (but Tuesday is an extra public holiday, so you might like to stay and enjoy Scotland).
